BLC Evaluation
The Common Core Standards of Mathematical Practices were written to help students to make sense of problems and persevere in solving them. We will connect some of the Mathematical Practices to techniques we have used to help students make sense of text and persevere in understanding during reading class. As we connect our teaching practices in reading and mathematics, we can better help our students make connections in their learning, leading to stronger understandings.
