Around the world, educators are discovering that a startup mindset will help their schools to rapidly achieve big goals. In this session, participants will use the human-centered design process to immerse themselves in a challenge that their school is facing and synthesis the learning to develop insights for innovative solutions.

Through a series of interactive activities, participants will learn how to:
Ask the “why” about what you’re doing.
Build a culture of innovation in your school or district to encourage teams to look through different lenses to develop solutions to existing problems.
Learn observation and interview techniques to gain an understanding of the problem.
Develop a How Might We statement that allows for a broad set of solutions.
