Melissa Silk is a STEAM educator from Sydney Australia. Having forged many learning and teaching partnerships between schools, museums, industry professionals and academics, she can be found working in a range of STEM to STEAM research and practice environments. Melissa works extensively with educators and students across a variety of schools and institutions to enhance the status of STEAM. Her primary goal is to motivate curriculum planning that embeds the Arts in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Melissa is a director of STEAMpop.zone while also engaged in research at the University of Technology Sydney. She enjoys being part of a bold community of international collaborators intent on developing and delivering innovative learning experiences for everybody.
