Francois McCurdy is currently a grade 6 Math and Science teacher and Innovative Instructional Strategist at the American International School in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is Canadian trained as a teacher and holds a Masters degree in International Counselling. He also views himself as a learner in progress regarding technology as a tool to enhance understanding. From his humble beginnings of being known as the guy who ‘leaves the caps lock on’ to the founder of the Creative Learning Exchange, Francois continuously strives to research technology and educational practices, seeking out the purpose behind it, in order to use them in creative ways to foster deeper understanding and more relevant learning experiences for students.
